Long before we designed bungalows and interiors in Pune, SB Square Projects built public infrastructure across Maharashtra. Our team has delivered roads, bridges, flood protection works, irrigation structures and government buildings for departments such as the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Irrigation Department (MKVDC). Today, we are also executing smart street lighting work in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Flood Protection Wall, Krishna–Koyna Confluence, Karad

- Location: Krishna–Koyna confluence (Preeti Sangam), Karad, Maharashtra
A large flood protection wall built with gabion mesh: wire baskets filled with locally sourced stone, carefully stacked and secured to withstand strong floodwater forces. The design includes integrated drainage so that water pressure behind the wall is relieved safely, protecting the riverside area during monsoon floods.
Karad–Patan Road (BOT Project), Satara

- Location: Toll plaza at Vijaynagar (Tal. Karad) to Nisari Phata, Dist. Satara
A 36 km road built on a Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model. We financed and built the road, completed it well within two years, and then operated and maintained it under a toll concession for over 14 years before handing it back to the government.
Kale Bridge on Mand River, Satara

A bridge across the Mand river connecting village Kale, built for the Public Works Department to give local residents safe, all-weather connectivity.
P.G. Hostel Building, Government College of Engineering, Karad

A post-graduate student hostel on the campus of one of Maharashtra’s oldest engineering colleges, completed within about a year.
Mahind M.I. Tank (Earthen Dam), Patan
- Department: Irrigation Department (MKVDC), Government of Maharashtra
- Project cost: ₹2.25 crore
- Construction: 1994 – 1998
- Location: Mahind, Tal. Patan, Dist. Satara
An earthen dam for a minor irrigation (M.I.) tank that stores water for farmland in the Patan region. It is one of our team’s earliest large civil works.
Jaipur Smart LED Street Lighting Project, Rajasthan
- Scope: Energy-efficient LED street lighting for city roads
- Contract signed: 2026

Our first major project outside Maharashtra. We are replacing conventional street lights with modern LED lighting to improve road safety and night-time visibility, cut energy use and lower maintenance costs as part of Jaipur’s move towards smarter, more sustainable urban infrastructure.
